X-Ring
X-Ring, alias Star-Ring, refers to the cross-section of the X-shaped rubber seal. X-Ring has more smaller friction resistance, the cross-section is not a round shape, could avoid rolling in reciprocating motion. It also has a good sealing effect because its flash is located in the concave part of the cross-section.
The X-Ring in two main common materials, the Nitrile (NBR) meterial has excellent resilience, wear-resistant and high temperature resistant, oil-resistant, could work stably in different media and has a long service life. Viton (FKM, FPM) material compared to other materials has more lower compression deformation rate, high chemical stability, also could anti-aging, good mechanical properties and excellent high temperature resistant.
